Obedience training is great for learning basic skills, socialization and alternatives to some unwanted behavior. However, teaching your dog to sit does not mean that your dog won’t bother the cat, or not greet your guests by jumping all over them. Many dog owners get frustrated and feel like they are out of options when confronted with more challenging behavioral questions. The goal of my training is to give dog owners alternatives to solve these behavioral issues and live peacefully with their dogs. Having also come from a background of rescue work, I understand that by helping to solve communication issues between dogs and their owners, we can reduce the numbers of dogs that are turned over to shelters every year. |
